Protocol for a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Core Outcomes for people undergoing Major Lower Limb Amputation as a consequence of Peripheral Arterial Disease or Diabetes Mellitus.


Aims are:

To establish the frequency and standardisation of reporting for each core outcome after major lower limb amputation.

To establish a contemporary baseline for each of the core outcomes.

To perform a meta-analysis to establish risk profiles of previously established high risk groups.

To perform a pooled time-to-event analysis for mortality after major lower limb amputation.
